Did you realize that just a few words of support and encouragement can have a life-changing impact?

It's true!

I've been there so many times in my own life. Just a few encouraging words from someone who appreciated my gifts and talents helped me accomplish goals and dreams I never thought possible. I used encouragement with many people with musical and artistic talents and watched them flourish in realizing their dream of sharing their gifts with people. 

This website is about embracing the power of encouragement...by giving it, accepting it, and owning it.

I started this website as a personal coach. I began "Wendy V's Encouraging Words" as an anchor for the website. I used some pieces I wrote years earlier when I began "pondering" some experiences I'd been going through. In doing so, I realized I wrote a lot to encourage myself (and still do from time to time)...but felt sharing it might help others who were perhaps going through the same sort of self-doubts.

 The three ways of embracing encouragement will help you if you are:

• A musician, writer or other artist looking to share your talents for first time audiences or move to the next level in your career, with setting some goals or moving on to bigger goals 
  
• A creative person who needs encouragement to discover greater possibilities in sharing your gifts
  
• Someone who knows what your life calling and passion is and is looking for ways to live it out
  
• Taking "baby steps" toward a new career or life phase and needs support and encouragement in facing new challenges
