About Wendy Vickers As a supporter of nationally and locally
renowned musicians, Wendy Vickers has earned nicknames such as
"folk queen", "guardian angel of acoustic
musicians" and "the Twin Cities' greatest cheerleader". "Wendy V" has a rewarding history of
encouragement to musicians for 18 years in Minneapolis/St. Paul,
Minnesota and beyond as a writer, promotion consultant and speaker,
inspiring musicians to take their music to broader

Her recent articles "Growing and Keeping Loyal Fan Support", "Embracing Encouragement: Three Key Ways to Impact Lives", and "Radio Airplay For Newcomers: How We Did It" have been featured on several music business and self-improvement websites. Her three part series on embracing encouragement can be heard on her podcast, "Wendy V's Ponder Cast". "Embrace Encouragement" is named from a phrase she first used in a speech in Grove City, Ohio in 2002 and in her "Treasures in the Tip Jar" audiobook. Wendy is a Certified Coach through Coach Training Alliance. Wendy earned the Toastmasters designations of Advanced Toastmaster-Bronze (ATM-B) and Competent Leader (CL). During her tenure as Vice President of Public Relations for the Mutual Voices Toastmasters club, she wrote and edited the club newsletter, which earned first place in the District 6 Club Newsletter contest in 2003.
